The Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held a ceremony and a blessed religious lecture on the occasion of the fragrant anniversary of the birth of Lady Zainab the Great (peace be upon her), at the Sayyid Al-Maa Hall in the college building, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, his scientific and administrative assistants, and a number of faculty members, staff and students.

The ceremony began with a fragrant recitation of the verses of the Holy Qur’an and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by a welcoming speech on the occasion that stressed the importance of reviving the blessed births of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) because of the lessons it holds in patience, faith and steadfastness on the truth.

The event included a religious lecture presented by Mr. Abdulsalam Aziz, in which he discussed the biography of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) and her heroic stances after the incident of al-Tuf, and the patience, courage and deep faith in God Almighty, to be an example for every believer in the face of adversity with steadfastness and faith.

At the end of the ceremony, the attendees expressed their thanks and pride in such initiatives that strengthen the connection to Zainabi values and contribute to the consolidation of ethical and humanitarian principles in the hearts of students and the academic community.
