A joint scientific achievement by faculty members from the Universities of Karbala and Babylon has been published in the global Scopus-indexed journals (Q2), as part of fruitful academic collaboration and knowledge exchange among Iraqi universities.
The study, titled:
“The Impact of Electronic Human Resource Management on Internal Service Quality: The Mediating Role of Employee Experience”
focuses on contemporary trends in digital management and human resources.
The research team included a distinguished group of academics and researchers:
- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Amanah (University of Karbala)
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah (University of Karbala)
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Rasha Abbas Abd (University of Babylon)
- Asst. Lect. Idris Mohammed Ali (University of Karbala)
The study examined the critical relationship between the use of electronic human resource management (e-HRM) systems and the improvement of internal service quality within organizations. A key contribution of the research lies in highlighting employee experience as a mediating factor. The findings demonstrate that digital transformation not only streamlines processes but also fosters a positive work environment that directly enhances institutional performance.
This publication contributes to improving the global rankings of the Universities of Karbala and Babylon (such as Shanghai Ranking and QS Rankings) by increasing the number of high-quality research outputs.
Moreover, this work reflects the importance of collaboration between Iraqi universities in producing impactful research with practical value that serves public and private sector institutions.
