The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held an extensive meeting with student representatives from the academic departments, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College, and attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Miyahi, Deputy Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
The meeting aimed to listen to the opinions and suggestions of student representatives regarding the academic environment and university services, and to discuss the main challenges faced by students in both academic and administrative aspects, contributing to the creation of an ideal learning atmosphere aligned with the requirements of the educational process.
During his speech, the Dean emphasized the College’s commitment to continuous communication with students and their representatives, who serve as a bridge between the administration and students. He stressed the importance of raising issues transparently and working with cooperation and collective responsibility to resolve them.
The Deputy Dean highlighted the necessity for students to adhere to university regulations and maintain public property, urging student representatives to contribute to the organization of meaningful university activities that foster a sense of belonging and responsibility.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to establish a regular mechanism for similar meetings to follow up on students’ feedback and ensure their voices are effectively conveyed to the College administration, enhancing the university learning environment and improving academic and service performance.
