The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Karbala Organizes a Training Course Entitled “Types of Statistical Tests”

The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a training course entitled “Types of Statistical Tests” for the period from 2 to 4 November 2025, with the aim of developing the skills of primary school students in understanding and applying the most important statistical tests used in scientific research.

The course was presented by the instructor Dr. Maryam Mahdi Anad, where it dealt with a comprehensive explanation of the basic concepts of inferential statistics, the mechanisms of choosing the appropriate test, in addition to practical applications to tests (t-test, ANOVA, Chi-square), correlation and regression tests, as well as non-parametric tests.

The course aimed to enhance students’ abilities in analyzing data, formulating research results in an accurate scientific way, and enabling them to read and interpret statistical outputs correctly.

At the end of the course, practical discussions were held with the students and certificates of participation were presented to the trainee students.
