Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Holds a Meeting with Academics Assigned to Administrative Duties to Discuss University Allowances

The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, held an expanded meeting with faculty members holding academic titles who are assigned to manage administrative duties at the College. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Miyahi, and focused on discussing university allowances and the mechanisms for organizing them.

The meeting addressed a number of issues related to allowances, particularly those associated with the nature of administrative assignments entrusted to faculty members holding academic titles and their impact on financial entitlements, in accordance with applicable laws and ministerial regulations, in a manner that ensures job fairness and enhances administrative stability within the College.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the College Deanship’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of academic and administrative staff and working to overcome any obstacles they may face. He also highlighted the important role played by faculty members assigned to administrative duties in supporting institutional workflow and advancing both academic and administrative performance at the College.

For his part, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs explained the mechanisms adopted in calculating allowances, noting that the College administration works in continuous coordination with the University Presidency and relevant authorities to ensure accurate and transparent implementation of regulations, in a way that preserves the rights of all parties.

The meeting also witnessed the presentation of several observations and proposals by the attendees, which were listened to and discussed in detail, within the framework of strengthening the principle of partnership and communication between the College Deanship and faculty members, contributing to the improvement of the university work environment and the achievement of the desired academic and administrative objectives.
